Facade film plays its part in Bracknell’s £240 million town centre regeneration

T6 International Ltd, teamed up with architectural and building-related film specialists, Architextural to rejuvenate The Lexicon shopping centre in Bracknell.

Avery Dennison Facade Film was used for the project providing a cost-effective, visually appealing and practical solution to transform the building exterior. The self-adhesive film glides smoothly over surfaces, for a smooth, paint-like finish, while offering a fast, clean and easy way to redecorate a building.

The film’s impressive 10-year durability and strong adhesive can withstand all weather conditions and has no drying time, making it ideal for outdoor areas which will be used daily.

With fast colour matching options for corporate colour requirements available, the film was the perfect solution for the project. The fire-tested films are designed for building facades, panels and window frames for restoration, restyling or branding purposes.

As the first in the UK to gain SFi accreditation with Avery Dennison, T6 International Ltd’s Anthony Rose said: “The atrium looked like new. We were initially going to paint the frames and panels however we saw a fantastic opportunity to use Avery Dennison Facade Film and its benefits, including a fast, mess-free application, to our advantage.”
