A combination of Polyflor’s Polysafe Verona PUR vinyl safety flooring in two complementary shades has been used to create an eye-catching dining hall at The Sutton Academy in St Helens.
As part of a major refurbishment project at the school, over 400m2 of flooring was installed throughout the dining area. Biscotti 5212 and Dolphin Grey 5203 shades were used to create a neutral backdrop for the dining hall’s vibrant purple and green benches which tie in with the Academy’s branding colours. With virtually invisible carborundum-free safety aggregates and tonal decorative chips, Polysafe Verona has the look of smooth vinyl flooring combined with the performance of a safety floor.
Ian Morris, Director of Network & Information Services at The Sutton Academy, comments, “This refurbishment has totally reinvented the dining hall. The product is a highly decorative sheet vinyl yet provides the required underfoot safety to our pupils, whilst being able to cleaned without problem.”
Verona flooring is HSE compliant and fulfils the EN13845 European Standard for safety flooring as it provides sustainable wet slip resistance in high traffic environments throughout its guaranteed lifetime.
