This friendly and forward thinking company are constantly working on their next development and how their latest innovations can best assist with test and measurement requirements.

There are a number of reasons that have led KANE to become a renowned name in the HVAC industry. We spoke to Marketing Manager Martin O’Dea who explained, “With our UK based Research and Development division and manufacturing base, we provide innovative, easy to use and easy to maintain high quality test instruments. In addition, we also manage the after sales service, as only KANE can service and calibrate KANE products. This means they are maintained to our high standards and original manufacturer specifications, ensuring they are always working as intended.

“As we do not use third party service agents, our fixed price service offering also ensures our customers know the cost of ownership and there are no unexpected high service or calibration charges. Not only that, but KANE also offer an asset management dashboard which allows you to manage and book your product in online. This, combined with a fast turnaround time- in some cases even while you wait- ensures you aren’t without your analyser any longer than necessary.”

KANE work with an array of different clients and customers, with their instruments popular among commercial and domestic heating engineers, automotive technicians and electrical engineers. Most recently, the company have been consolidating their successes in order to meet an ever rising demand. Martin added, “Right now, we are in the midst of an expansion of our internal and external workforce in an effort to meet the growing demand for KANE products.

We will continue to develop and bring to market new and innovative equipment, and in order to do so, we have recently moved to a purpose built 25,000 sq ft head office in Welwyn Garden City. This new site combines the latest in lean manufacturing practices with an efficient and slick service and calibration operation.”
KANE have a variety of different products for different applications. Among their most popular instruments is the industry leading KANE458 Flue Gas Analyser.

Equipped with CO sensor protection that prevents CO sensor saturation and an infra-red CO2 sensor, this device is capable of measuring CO2 between 0-20%, as well as differential temperature and pressure. It can be used to detect gas in rooms, perform combustion performance, combustion efficiency checks and has in built in structured commission test procedure. Not only that, it features 6 line display, screen protection, fast printing, and a 6 year warranty if serviced annually.

KANE is also praised for their excellent calibration, service and recertification. In fact, they have proven to be the UK’s largest and fastest FGA after sales service provider. KANE is the only manufacturer of hand held gas analysers to be granted UKAS accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for it Welwyn Garden City calibration laboratory covering a range of gases, temperature and pressure.

With two UK Service Centres, they can provide swift servicing, calibration and recertification. This speedy service is crucial as out-of-calibration analysers produce invalid combustion reports, meaning recertification is of prime importance. Better yet, every KANE analyser is returned with a fully traceable calibration certificate and a warranty for the next 12 months.
