Leeds-based Gauntlet Group has expanded its health and safety team thanks to significant growth in the last 18 months, one of the most dynamic periods in Gauntlet’s two decades of on-health and safety provision.
Since moving to new premises, in April 2015, Gauntlet has increased the focus on the health and safety function, encouraging the development of stand-alone projects, as well as the team’s continued contribution to the in-depth risk management underpinning Gauntlet’s successful motor and commercial insurance broking service.
Filling the newly created role of business development manager, Andrew Scott has 30 years’ experience in the health and safety and insurance markets, drawn from employment at Co-operative Insurance Society and at Allianz, in both the UK and India and, most recently, as a director of an independent health and safety consultancy based in Chorley. He joins Gauntlet’s health and safety manager, Gary Skews, and health and safety consultants James O’Brien and Brian Goulding.
